Auli: A skiing destination

Almora: Commercial headquarters of Kumaon.

Almora, the district headquarters, is a town that beautifully encapsulates the essence of Kumaon. Known for its scenic beauty and pleasant weather, Almora offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The town is a perfect base to explore the surrounding attractions and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Valley of Flowers

The trek of Valley of flowers goes through dense forests, along with Puspawati river and can be reached by crossing many bridges, glaciers and waterfalls on the way.The Valley of Flowers has cultural significance beyond its natural beauty. The valley is believed to have been mentioned in ancient Indian scriptures, such as the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, further enhancing its mythological importance.

Local folklore also attributes spiritual significance to the valley. It is believed that Lord Hanuman, the monkey god, found the mythical Sanjeevani herb in the valley while searching for medicinal herbs to heal Lord Lakshmana, the younger brother of Lord Rama, during the battle with Ravana.

Chamba

Kumaon

Lansdowne

The architecture of Lansdowne is stunning. The buildings and church of Lansdowne built during British Raj. Also, Lansdowne is an ideal location for eco-tourism as it is well preserved by the Government of Uttarakhand as well as the Garhwal Rifles.

Chopta

 the ‘mini-Switzerland’ of Uttarakhand, Chopta is a slice of paradise tucked away in the Garhwal Himalayas. Surrounded by bugyals or velvety meadows and pristine snow-capped peaks, Chopta is an all-year holiday destination: pleasant in summer, rain-fresh in monsoon and a snow-clad fairyland in winter. Chopta is at the epicenter of the Panch Kedar – the five most sacred Shiva temples in the state. On its left are located Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar shrines and on the right, Rudranath and Kalpeshwar, and just above it, the Tunganath temple.

Kedarnath

Kedarnath is a very famous pilgrimage site among the Hindu Community in India. The Kedar Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 most important Jyotirlingas in the Sanatan Tradition. The Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva or Mahadev who is one of the three supreme entities in Sanatan Tradition.

Badrinath

Badrinath, known for the sacred Badrinath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage yatras. Perched on the Garhwal hill tracks, near the Alaknanda River, Badrinath is situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. 

Dhanaulti

Dhanaulti’s enormous green wonderland, the Eco-Park, is the place to go for a peaceful escape into nature. Beautiful gardens, enchanting deodar trees, and winding pathways abound in this impeccably maintained park. This spot is ideal for picnics, strolls, and simply taking in some peace & quiet. The park provides a relaxing retreat for guests thanks to its tranquil setting and the gentle sounds of birds singing.
